It's been almost 20 years since Blazin' Squad were riding high in the UK charts with their debut single Crossroads heading straight for the Number One spot. The huge success of the gelled-haired, shaved-eyebrowed teen heartthrobs spawned RnB inspired album The Beginning and a further six top ten singles. Over their brief career the lads celebrated two gold records and sold-out arena tours - including a headline set at Wembley.

The ten members all met through secondary school and came together through a shared love of music. One of the most recognisable members of the group who could forget that gel-slicked hair baby-faced Kenzie went on to become a tabloid favourite after the band split thanks to his high profile romances.

Following his very public but short-lived romance to Marsh, Kenzie has been with his current girlfriend since with whom he now shares daughters Wynter and Wyllow. Even die-hard fans might have trouble recognising a now year-old Kenzie given he's now a beefed-up personal trainer at Studio Blazin' Squad's popularity had a brief resurgence in all thanks to Marcel's appearance in one of the most popular series of Love Island to date.

The rapper hilariously tried to keep his time in the boyband a closely guarded secret, before choosing to disclose the revelation to fellow islanders one by one. Outside the villa, fans were reliving the group's glory days which led to some members of the band doing the nightclub PA rounds over summer. After Marcel's romance with co-star Gabby Allen came crashing down in a wave of cheating allegations, the star went on to find love with his current girlfriend Rebecca.

After leaving the music industry and his zany nickname behind, Freek - better known as Oliver Georgiou - embarked on a career in corporate banking.

Blazin' squad album

After bandmate Marcel's stint on Love Island, Oliver was invited to appear on E4 show Tattoo Fixers where he hoped to update the inking on his left bicep. Back in The Squad's glory days, Olivier got the date of his band's first number one and the date they signed their record contract on his arm. After spending some time with the experts, the inking was updated to a more spectacular tribute to their efforts - complete with a smoking microphone.
