Shikha Dalmia Februaey 13, ? Born in New Dehli, and educated at the University of New Dehli, Dalmia lives in Michigan with husband Arthur Melzer, a professor of political philosophy who recently published a book on Leo Strauss and esoteric writing , and with a Siberian huskie named Ambush.

Previously, Dalmia was a writer at Reason Magazine and a senior analyst at Reason Foundation, a nonprofit think tank.

She travels frequently to India, where she has a large extended family and to Washington, DC for events held by reason magazine. Dalmia says she became a libertarian only after she moved to the U.
