The Christian credentials of the Dr are impressive indeed. Watched the first few mins - will watch fully later. The description of what attracted him to Islam is one I've heard many times before - it wasn't prosletysing but rather the examples of how the Muslims he was interacting with were living their lives. It took him over a year to then ask and investigate in detail the theology having studied Islam superficially as part of his theology training.
